Now that the Internet giant Google has conquered all things on the web, the company is now setting it's sights on television - more importantly the Super Bowl.
For several days now the company has been rumored to have purchased a an advertisement sometime during the game. Up until now there has been no confirmation from anyone at Google.
However, Eric Schmidt just recently tweeted:
"Can’t wait to watch the Superbowl tomorrow. Be sure to watch the ads in the 3rd quarter (someone said 'Hell has indeed frozen over.')"
So, this leaves us to ponder what will it be about? Those at the technology blog, 'TechCrunch', believe that the commercial will likely be centered around the Nexus One - others think it may be an ad to foster competition with Bing.
Either way, that's one hell of a way to spend $2.5 million.
